Winter Pamper Routine

Sometimes we all just need some time out, and on a cold, dark, rainy evening what better way to relax than to unwind with some pampering at home! I love this because its so relaxing, completely on your terms and can cater to any budget, mine definitely changes from the beginning of my student loan to the end of it! This is my current pamper routine, which I usually turn to when dissertation and exam stresses get a bit too much!
Do some yoga. This might seem like a bit of an unlikely start to a pampered night in, but I really enjoy doing a 20 minute yoga video to get a more relaxed frame of mind. My current favourite is Erin Motz on youtube as her videos are so fun, positive, easy to follow and she's so relatable. She also has loads of beginner videos up, so check out her 30-day challenge for free!
Do a face mask. No pamper night would be truly complete without a face mask! I've used Lush's Cup O' Coffee exfoliating face mask (X)This rich and chocolatey gorgeous face mask leaves my skin feeling so smooth and refreshed and for scent and exfoliating this mask is spot on. Its also so, so long lasting and definitely worth the investment as you can get at least 10 uses out of it for £6.75.
Have a bubble bath. As one of those people that can spend literally 3 hours in the bath, I absolutely love just having some time out and chilling in a nice relaxing, warm bath, preferably with something from lush making it colourful. My favourite picks for the bath at the moment have to be the gorgeous Luxury Lush Pud (X) bath bomb, Soap and Glory's Breakfast Scrub (X) and Righteous body butter (X). For any of you without a bath, having a long shower an also be really nice and calming, just trade that bath bomb for some lovely shower gel, personally I'm a big fan of the crazily sweet and glittery Snow Fairy (X) shower gel at this time of year!
Watch some videos or read a book, and for me its definitely not going to be dissertation reading! While in the bath I love either having some youtube videos on in the background (currently obsessing over In The Frow's vlogmas) or taking some time out to get into a great book. Whether you're venturing out with something completely new, or just curling up with a well loved favourite (cough Harry Potter!) its a lovely way to get wrapped up in something else for a while.
Paint your nails. While I often just cannot be bothered to redo my eternally chipped-on-the-first-day nails, I always feel so much better when I finally do! I also love getting into the spirit of things with some winter themed nails. Here I've used a gorgeous Topshop shimmery gold (X) on my toes and the icy Barry M blueberry (X) on my fingers with my Barry M nail art pen (X) creating some cute little snowflakes!
I'd love to know how you like to unwind or your favourite pampering products so please let me know below!
Thanks for reading lovelies, Georgia xxxx
